Tutorial: How to upgrade LG GT540 for Android 2.1

The devices LG GT540 recently won the update of Android. Owners of these smartphones can already perform procedure that installs the Eclair (2.1) operating system from Google.

Required:

•  USB Cable 
• Astro File Manager    
• OS Update Program
• Driver  

Step by step:

1. Update the Mobile Sync for the latest version. 
2. Backup application installed on your memory card (Micro SD)  using the ASTRO File Manager.
3. Click Auto-Sync (Auto Sync) or select the items you want to sync manually in "Accounts & Sync settings" (settings of accounts and synchronization).   
4. After synchronization, check that the contacts and calendar are loaded in Google account. 
5. Download and run the Astro. 
6. With Astro open, go to Menu / Tools / Application and Backup and select the apps you want to backup.
7. Run the update and follow the steps on the screen (Iniaciar, Download, Analyze, Update). 
8. When you finish the upgrade, disconnect the USB. 
9. Synchronize your personal data (contacts, calendar) from the Google account. 
10. With Astro open, go to Menu / Tools / Application and Backup and select the apps you want to restore.
